Swamp Ledger is run by Kutter out of DeLand, Florida: hunting the pine flats and swamps, and fishing the St. Johns, the lagoons and everything in between.

Most gear sites are written for elk country or the Great Lakes. We write for the South: heat, humidity, snakes, salt and sand. Our guides pull together manufacturer specs, independent test data and local know-how. When we've used something ourselves, we'll say so plainly. When we haven't, we'll say that too.

Our own brand, disclosed

Kutter also owns Kammo Gear, a Southern hunting, fishing and country apparel brand. When we mention Kammo Gear, it's our own product and we make money on it. We mark every mention clearly.
